The Department of Public Affairs assists organizations in their events when public property is utilized and manages the special events produced by the city. Permits for the use of public property, for film productions, parades or festivals as well as weddings when public property is utilized may be obtained through this office. In addition, the department acts as the primary point of contact for the media with regards to city government activities.
