The Care and Share Committee

The Care and Share Committee meets twice a year on the third Friday in April and October at 10:00am in the Financial Services Department Conference Room, fourth floor of City Hall, 75 King Street.

The three members of the committee are appointed by the three agencies represented: the Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, the St. Johns County Welfare Federation and Catholic Charities. They are each appointed for an indefinite period of time.

The committee is charged with promulgating standards for the payment of water, sewer or garbage bills from the "Indigent Utility Service Account," and to review and approve applicants who meet the specified standards for payment of their bills.
