Driver for Hire Licenses
Any person who drives or operates a motorized or non-motorized vehicle for the purpose of carrying passengers for hire or compensation, including, taxicabs, horse-drawn vehicles, trailer trains, or other vehicles used for sightseeing in the city must obtain a license from the City.
The licenses are issued by the Department of Finance, Budget and Management at the Financial Service Center, 50 Bridge St., 904.825.1037.
