Standard procedures are in effect
In the weeks following Hurricane Irma, the City of St. Augustine Solid Waste Department suspended the Franchise Hauler contract agreement in order to assist residents and business owners in expediting debris removal. As of Wednesday, November 01, 2017, all debris removal conducted in the city resumed as normal, following the City’s Franchise ordinance. Vendors, commercial properties, as well as residents can refer to the approved franchise haulers list on our website so they are not in violation.
