St. Augustine's Neighborhood Council

St. Augustine's neighborhood council program is an initiative inaugurated by the City Commission

in the spring of 2003 whereby various neighborhood associations are represented on a central council,

the Neighborhood Council.

The Neighborhood Council of St. Augustine, Inc., and the various neighborhood associations which

are members are all independent organizations that receive no official sanctioning or oversight

from the city, but in an effort to assist and facilitate the work of the neighborhoods and Council,

the Commission authorized the creation of the position of a neighborhood coordinator.

In addition to working with the Council and associations, the coordinator is also the first stop

for a wide range of constituency service functions. The neighborhood coordinator is

Cathy DuPont and she may be reached by phone at 904.825.1053 or by email at:

cdupont@ci.st-augustine.fl.us.

The Neighborhood Office is located on the first floor of City Hall (75 King Street), and is most

easily reached from the Granada Street side of City Hall directly across from the Flagler College

auditorium. The office is open between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
