Pet Registration

Owners of cats and or dogs within the City of St. Augustine are required to register their pets annually with the City.

To register an animal, the owner need only present current rabies certificate for each cat and/or dog, provide some descriptive information about the animal (i.e. name, breed, color and sex) and pay the annual registration fee.

The fee is:
Males	$3.00
Female (spayed)	$3.00
Female (unspayed)	$5.00

Upon registration, the owner will be provided with an information tag that must be attached to the animal’s collar. In the event the pet is lost, the tag provides an easy way for the owner to be notified.
