The Plaza de Constitucion has been a favorite place for concerts for generations as evidenced by this postcard from the early 1920's. Pictured are crowds attending a concert by the Cola Santo Concert Band which performed in St. Augustine during the winters of 1922-1924, including a concert attend by President and Mrs. Warren G. Harding.

The poem on the reverse side of the postcard is attributed to
William Franklin Atwood:

In Florida the heavens their glories unfold
With sheen of silver and luster of gold
Where the ocean reflects, and its waters portray
The magic of nature by night and day.
Where the moss-hung oak and the swaying palm
Contribute the motif for music and psalm.
