St. Augustine’s Historic Downtown Parking Facility and the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Visitor’s Information Center stand ready to greet visitors and residents to the Nation’s Oldest City.
St. Augustine’s Historic Downtown Parking Facility (HDPF), the preferred parking location in the Nation’s Oldest City, is located adjacent to the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Visitor’s Information Center (VIC) on Castillo Drive just off U.S. 1. There’s no easier way to start your visit to St. Augustine than at the HDPF & the VIC.

The HDPF’s nearly 1,200 parking spaces are available 24 hours a day every day of the year. Convenient to St. George Street and San Marco Avenue as well as the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the parking facility offers easy connections to all sightseeing services.
Helpful information from well informed Ambassadors is the keystone of VIC operations. With spacious and clean restrooms, a small gift shop, kiosks with touch screen guide, current special event and arts and cultural information and rows and rows of brochures and guides. Without a doubt, the VIC is the place every visit to St. Augustine should begin.
Parking at the HDPF is $1.25 per hour with a $7.50 per day maximum. During selected peak days, a flat all day rate of $7.00 is payable on entry to ease exiting for visitors.
The city provides a free shuttle service from the VIC to the Plaza de la Constitucion in the heart of the historic district on selected dates. Those dates are:
Monthly passes are available for $32.00 plus tax. For groups of 10 or more the cost may be as low as $25.60 plus tax.
