The Wind Ensemble of Navy Band Southeast performs in the Plaza during the 2004 Concerts in the Plaza series.
35-piece band will perform in the Plaza, Saturday, August 20 @ 5:30pm
The Wind Ensemble of Navy Band Southeast will be featured in a special edition of Concerts in the Plaza on Saturday, August 20 @ 5:30pm in the Plaza de la Constitucion.
Always a favorite for Concerts in the Plaza audiences, the Wind Ensemble is a 35-piece band noted for its amazing versatility. A concert usually includes traditional marches, patriotic music, classical music, Broadway tunes, and today's most exciting concert band music. The band has performed for thousands of audiences across the Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This concert is certain to please audiences of all ages.
The free concert begins at 5:30pm. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the Plaza.
In addition, at 7:00pm, immediately following the concert, the Changing of the Guard will occur in front of Government House. The 20-minute reenactment is staged every Saturday evening through Labor Day weekend.
