4:30pm: budget for the city's two CRAs
5:05pm: budget for the City of St Augustine
The St. Augustine City Commission held the first of two required public hearings regarding the 2013-2014 budget on Thursday, September 5 and now looks toward the second and final hearing on Thursday, September 19 at 5:05pm.
But prior to that hearing will be one on the budget's of the city's two Community Redevelopment Areas (CRA): the Historic Area Transportation and Parking Redevelopment Area and the Lincolnville Community Redevelopment Area. The hearing on the two CRAs will start at 4:30pm.
Both hearings will be held in The Alcazar Room, City Hall, 75 King St. The public is encouraged to attend. The 2013-2014 budget year begins on October 1.
In preparation for the commission’s budget workshop held on August 22, staff prepared a workbook with a summary of each of the funds on which the city relies for operations. In addition, staff developed a presentation reviewing some of the projects completed in the past year and outlining some planned for the coming year. Both the presentation and the workbook, very helpful for anyone interesting in the city's annual operations, are available by clicking on the links below:
