How to get to the VIC
From I-95 traveling South
Take Exit 318 and head east on State Road 16 to U.S. Hwy. 1 (approx. 6 miles). Turn right (south) on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn left on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From I-95 traveling North
Take Exit 311 and head north on State Road 207 to U.S. Hwy. 1 (approx. 7 miles). Turn left (north) on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn right on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From I-4 traveling East
Take I-4 East to I-95 North (Daytona Beach). From I-95, take Exit 311 and head north on State Road 207 to U.S. Highway 1 (approx. 7 miles). Turn left (north) on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn right on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From Hwy A1A traveling South
After crossing the Usina Bridge (at Vilano Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway) go to the first traffic light (May Street) and turn left onto San Marco Avenue. Go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light) and turn right. Watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your left.
From Hwy A1A traveling North
After crossing the Temporary Bridge of Lions in downtown St. Augustine, bear right and go north on Avenida Menendez. Go to the first traffic light (Castillo Drive) and turn left. Watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your left.
From U.S. 1 traveling South
After crossing the intersection of State Road 16 and U.S. 1, go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn left on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From U.S. 1 traveling North
After crossing the intersection of State Road 207 and U.S. 1, go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn right on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From State Road 207 traveling North
From the intersection of State Road 207 and U.S. 1, turn left (north) on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn right on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From State Road 312 traveling West
After crossing the Intracoastal Waterway, go to U.S. 1 (2nd traffic light). Turn right headed north on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (6th traffic light). Turn right on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Visitor Information Center and the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on your right.
From State Road 16 traveling East
From the intersection with U.S. 1, turn right (south) on U.S. 1 and go to Castillo Drive (2nd traffic light). Turn left on Castillo Drive and watch for the entrance signs for the Historic Downtown Parking Facility Visitor Information Center on your right.
