Sala de Montiano Room
at the Government House
Rates for Rental of the Sala de Montiano and Courtyard
Wedding Reception, Rehearsal Dinner, Corporate Reception
Parties renting the Sala and Courtyard will have use of the Sala and Courtyard beginning at 9 a.m. the day of the event until midnight; however, City of St. Augustine noise ordinance goes into effect at 10 p.m. Lessee has use of twelve 60-inch round tables, 100 white, wooden chairs, 35 upholstered chairs, one 11-foot table, and six high back chairs. Set up and break down of the room is the responsibility of the lessee.
Rate is $2,000 plus $120 Florida Sales Tax (Deposit - $1,000)

Rate is $900 plus $54 Florida Sales Tax (Deposit - $150)
Standard Daily Rate for Day Meeting and Luncheons
Rate applies to use of the room for between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rental includes access to the Sala and Courtyard, however Government House and Government House Museum will remain open to the public. Licensee has use of twelve 60-inch round tables, 100 white wooden chairs, 35 upholstered chairs, one 11-foot table and six high back chairs.
Rate is $500 plus $30 Florida Sales Tax (Deposit - $150)
Deposit
The deposit is separate from the rental rate and serves as a security deposit and will be retained to cover the following charges:
Hourly Staff Rate
On the day of the event, a City of St. Augustine employee is required to be on premises for the security of the building. The rate is $35 per hour.
Post-Event Cleaning Fee
For those events where food has been served, an outside contractor will clean the building to reutrn the room to its original condition. this charge will be deducted from the deposit. The rate is $90.
Close Government House Early
The rate to close Government House earlier than scheduled public hours is $150 per hour.
The maximum occupancy for all rentals is 120 people and setup and breakdown of the room is the responsibility of the lessee.
