City Attorney

The city attorney provides professional legal advice and legal services to the City Commission, appointed officials, boards, city staff and government departments. In addition, the city attorney prosecutes and defends all suits for and on behalf of the city, prepares contracts, bonds and renders opinions on various issues of city interest.
